This year, LKCSS had its very first Trashion show. It’s a lot like a fashion show, but with trash! The idea behind a Trashion show is that students create outfits using recycled materials or waste materials that are clean.

The event kicked off with Mr Alex introducing the topic of Fast Fashion and Sustainable fashion. Students kicked off with a bang and instantly started grabbing as much rubbish as they could to design their outfits. Students worked well together and had a lot of fun as they created such a large selection of different outfits from Chinese ancient warriors, to futuristic robot outfits and then elegant summer dresses, all made from recycled trash! 

After the time was up, students had a mini Trashion-show to show off their outfits.
